Monthly allocation
AI credits come with the Creator plan: a set number each calendar month. Your balance shows on the Create dashboard and the generation pages as “AI credits: N of M left this month”. Credits renew on the 1st; unused credits don't carry over.
While a generation runs, the credits it may need are held (“held for generations in progress”). When it finishes you're charged only for what was actually produced, and the rest comes back.
The monthly allocation for Creator subscribers hasn't been announced yet. On test accounts the balance may say Test mode (no charges): nothing is charged there.

These are the standard costs; the buttons and the generation page always show the current cost before you start. A whole set of 20 concepts costs about 22 credits, or about 102 with an illustration for every concept.
When credits come back
- Failures aren't charged. If a step fails (for example the provider doesn't answer, or the reply can't be used), its held credits come back. A partly finished generation charges only the concepts that were written.
- Illustrations: if drawing fails before an illustration is stored, the 4 credits come back. A drawing that worked costs its credits even if you then discard it, remove it, or ask for a new version with Try again.
- Suggestions you discard (helpers, outlines you don't use) were produced, so they're charged.
- Cancelling a running generation releases the credits it hadn't used yet.
Other limits
- Up to 3 generations can run at once.
- There's an overall monthly limit on AI generation for all creators together. If it's reached, new generations are refused until the 1st and nothing is charged.
- If a lot of AI work is cancelled or retried in one month, AI generation pauses for your account until the 1st. Contact us if you need it sooner.
No cash value
Credits are part of your plan, not a separate purchase. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and end with your billing period if you cancel (see Billing).
